Melon Melon Smoothie
One of the best parts about having a portable blender; is coming up with new smoothie ideas based on the fruits and vegetables you have in the fridge or on the kitchen counter. Melons are plentiful in the summer so I grabbed some watermelon, cantaloupe, a lime & some agave nectar and blended up this double melon smoothie!
Watermelon is the perfect summer ingredient for a lip smacking smoothie to help keep you hydrated. Oranges aren’t the only orange colored fruit that provide 100% of your daily vitamin C. Cantaloupes are a nutritious powerful antioxidant that protect your cells from damage.
This simple 4 ingredient smoothie is a great way to start your day!
1 Cup of Watermelon Chunks
1 Cup of Cantaloupe Chunks
1/2 of a fresh squeezed Lime
1 tablespoon of Agave Nectar
Handful of Ice
First add half of your watermelon chunks, and half of your cantaloupe chunks to The WindBlend and blend for 20 seconds.
Next, add the remaining watermelon, cantaloupe and a tablespoon of your sweetener of choice (Raw honey, agave nectar) and blend for 20 seconds.
Finally, add ice, lime juice, and blend for 1 more cycle.
